Welcome to the forums, great seeing some new people on here.

You definitely have a "glow" thing going on with all your pieces, really helps give them all a nice atmosphere and focal point.

You're very good at capturing moment of time, it'd be great to see you push some more detail work to a better finish. The Christmas card I think is the most obvious, it's great but Santas beard feels a bit loose and I think you could really make it feel more solid and layered.

Cant wait to see more work, keep it up!

Welcome!!

I think your values need more contrast (in some of these pieces), they're all grouped around the mid value it seems, it's most obvious in the Santa piece where the background characters seem a bit flat. Although I have a feeling it might be the gamma setting on your computer?

Favourite piece is the Green ghosts in the kitchen, tons of fun details to look at. Keep posting!

Capitalizing on what Igo said, I definitely see that moment in time quality and I'd really like to see you take these another step further and push that element. Really bring the focus in to play, even use environmental elements they way the show up in real life. Raindrops on a window, the way the sun hits your eyes, a snapshots lack of clarity. Little things.

The last piece for example, the fence and telephone poles are great elements but to really give the viewer a sense of looking in on the glowing folks, those forward elements would do great as near silhouettes, even out of focus. Give that distance in the piece a bit of muting, and maybe adjust the focus a bit there too. The piece covers a lot of ground but the end result is fairly flat.

But I'm really liking this stuff.
