I was debating about whether this looked like two alien penises in perspective... in space, playing swords. ANd then i realized, it's a girl's ass bent over like she's leaning over a bed, or a chair, or a counter (if she's really tall).

Sorry. The render actually looks pretty traditional with the texture and strokes. So nice work there.

I am using all of my powers to not photoshop a bikini bottom on that thing.

haha I spent about 9 hours on the Hugh Laurie! I have to get faster!! Of course I suppose that would come with practice and practice is exactly what I hope to push myself to do this fine February. This challenge is the kind of kick in the @$$ I needed.

Ha. Dude I was gonna make a comment on how you've been consistently late at the same time so...should've gone with a 4am deadline! Would have liked that myself, really...since I generally start pieces so late in the day -_-...

And what do I think? I think: go on to your next drawing. Your stuff is so nice that at this point it's just going to come down to practice, especially for daily work. Also, I'm going to leave all the nit-picking up to Grigor when he's schooling you =P

One tip that might help you - halfway through your drawing, mirror it, and check your slant. You'd be surprised at what you think is all straight and evenly drawn is suddenly got a strong lean to it. Correct anything and then mirror it back.

If you wanna work on speed I'd suggest switching your brush size. Work with a fat, round brush. Sculpt out shapes in a drawing and keep it a little rough, rather than kill yourself with a micron-sized point and try to flesh out massive areas with it. Take no longer than a couple hours.

PS. and Jessie is a beaut. I really like how you've been working with these colored backgrounds.

Super nice macaw; 2 hours feels about right so I wouldn't feel bad about taking that long. I mean, I'm ashamed to say I spend FAR too long on mine...far longer than you'd think.
