Glad to see everyone enjoying the evolved theme as much as I am. This next one I was surprised I didn't find already drawn with a quick google search. Such a no brainer.

Mike, these are great man. Love how you're not just doing the different suit designs (which are great, 15th is insane) but seeing you work them into movie stills is fucking gold. Keep at it man.

Nice guess Bay, but no cigar. It is On The Waterfront tho had you guessed that from such a rough sketch I would have been hella impressed.

I actually went back and forth quite a bit on whether to make the glove his. The fact that it is her glove he is playing with in the movie is such an amazing bit of acting and subtext, it felt almost criminal to not make it her glove in this picture. But since Stark is such an egomaniac, I thought it fit to make it his glove instead.

I gotta say, after hitting on this movie theme, I am beginning to fall in love with Iron Man. Tony has so many wonderful character flaws that he just lends himself so damn well to any sort of character study.

Rough layout sketch for the next one. As each of these continues to get more complex, each day is going to have to be another step in the process. Hopefully tomorrow I can get it all inked up.

I don't know these movies. I mean, i know them, but i haven't seen them. Because i am uncultured swine. But i'm sure they are pivotal movie scenes. So i will pretend to just say, "Yeah, that scene was always my fav!"

On The Waterfront and Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf I had only finally seen within the last few years, so there is still time for ya Fenne. And these aren't necessarily two pivotal scenes, just the two that stuck with me and felt like appropriate moments to insert The Stark.

Only time for the flats today. I also changed the drawer from being open to him just holding on as if he might open it. Having it opened was too much of a proactive move towards actually leaving the abusive relationship and felt like more of a subtle instigation or reaction to the fight than would be in character.

liesels face was way less manly. And maybe for more readabilities sake, you could have ironman shouldering a mail bag (even though i think he's not wearing one in the scene. Just ideas though!

I knew you were all softies for a good teenage romance.

So I wasn't really feeling the armor I did in the sketch, so I figured I would look up the Mark 16 armor for reference, to play off the song. Lo and behold, what I find out is that is the War Machine armor. Sometimes fate is awesome like that.

Only had time to lay down some of the inks today, and a fair amount of them are still rather rough. But its a start.
