Well haven't drawn in about 8 months. So here's to warming up again and hopefully I won't be doing this uploading at 15 til midnight every night :P.

the little fox/dog on top really helps a lot. So much personality. Caveman could use more personality! But i'm diggin it. Also, congrats on the expecting business. I hope i read that right in the sign-up post? Exciting!!!

Fenn you did read that right. Sometime around the 16th give or a take a week I'll probably disappear for a few days to welcome a new baby. Well that and take care of my wife. Whichever seems in need of more attention I guess.

And yeah the dog thing was a happy accident. Had a weird blob that decided to become a fox/dog thing.

Today is a Squawk. This is why I try not to name things often...

Day 3 is me trying to figure out a color palette for Mars. Did some rough rock formations. Thinking the middle one worked best, but I dunno I'll have to sleep on it. And wow, didn't realize that switching from CMYK to RGB would make it so garish. Wow.

Tried something new tonight. Never having painted a greyscale and then colored it, I just tried to do that. Kinda fun, but I still think I'm missing something.

M'kay Photobucket is what's messing this stuff up, yesterdays colors changed a lot but I just figured must have been a conversion, but today really messed stuff up. Anyone have any ideas what photobucket might be doing to these? Mind you it's only on this forum, the image on my computer or in the photobucket album look completely different from these last two posted.

Odd drawing during the day when there's light out. But since I don't have to work today I get that luxury.

Had to draw the mental bleach because I watched the Sorcerer's Apprentice. *shudder*

Today I watched the last airbender. I may never recover from that movie. Yeargh.

I was planning on only having the last bit of Feb with a baby and looks like she came early so I get to try to do most of Feb with a baby. We'll see how well that works...

I had a joke lined up saying that the baby was the best piece of art created this month - but if you try to scan her in your scanner, I might have to whack you upside the head (...okay, that was the joke heh).

Best of luck with Little Mini-Kort. I've heard they grow up so fast, so if she can already hold a pencil by the end of the month we'd certainly love to see her skillz, haha.

But yeah, congratulations you three.

@cog, y'know I almost did that. minus the scanner and just uploading a photo of the baby. Then I though that it was kinda cheating as I only partially made the baby. :P

@mike Yeah that one was a keeper. Going to put it in the baby book with the pregnant drawing from the day before.

@blue I have never had a convenient baby to draw before, but now that I do I'm sure everyone will be sick of seeing drawings of her before I'm tired of drawing her. They are super tricky though, proportions are all sorts of different.

Anyway, late on todays post by an hour, shame on me. Had to wait til she fell asleep to use the computer & draw.
Sadly not from reference today, it's an imaginary baby.

@Kid Yes, hands are great. I can't draw an arm/wrist/hand combo to save my life, but I loves drawing hands alone.
@Ken It's hard, babies are time suckers. But cute. Also they take both hands when they're this little :/

Well messed around in photoshop again. Played with painting a bottle on my desk. One of these days I'll have more than 40 min to draw in. Sadly this took 40 min. I either need to learn to draw faster or better or both.
